SAVE educates students about the effects and consequences of violence as well as safe activities for students, parents, and the community.

The National Association of Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE) has excellent speakers available for kick-off events, national safe schools week, National SAVE Day, or any violence prevention activity or event. SAVE also offers one day SAVE Implementation Trainings for school districts, schools, or community organizations.

SAVE is currently booking SAVE Implementation Workshops. This is a one day interactive training session on how to implement the SAVE program in your school or community. The training includes an overview of the strategies essential to a successful SAVE program. Topic areas include crime prevention, conflict management and service projects, in addition to resources and tips for starting and maintaining a SAVE chapter.

This workshop can be presented as a district wide training for elementary, middle and high schools or as a school wide training for all staff members. It is recommended that adults and a core group of 4-5 interested students (grades 5 and above) from each school attend.

An ideal audience would include representatives from the following:

  • students – grades 5 and above
  • teachers & assistants
  • counselors & social workers
  • school resource officers
  • coaches
  • administrators
  • school safety professionals
  • parents and/or PTA representatives
  • area college students and advisors
  • community based organization representatives
