Tupelo High School – Tupelo, MS
Tupelo High School’s activities have included a Ghost Out Day during National Youth Violence Prevention Week (April 2013). Selected students painted their faces white, wore black shirts printed with messages, and did not speak for entire day to bring awareness of the dangers of distracted driving. PSAs were created using different driving distractions. On May 23 2014, a mock accident took place where the students observed a wrecked car and the aftermath.
