St. Patrick Catholic High School
The SAVE Chapter at St. Patrick Catholic High School conducted a Bullying Campaign in the fall. Students watched the movie “Bully” and teachers incorporated materials from the Bully Project in their lesson plans to reach all students in school.
Red Ribbon Week was also observed.
Teen Safe Driving was emphasized during America’s Safe Schools Week with a seatbelt check. They were pleased to find that 100% of the students were wearing their seat belts. Students enjoyed the social interaction and the activity brought an awareness of SAVE to the student body.
During prom week a speaker stressed the importance of making smart choices. This chapter’s advisor is Ms. Sondra Simpson.
