Terry Sanford High School
The Terry Sanford High School SAVE Chapter will conduct numerous awareness activities throughout the school year to promote youth safety and teen safe driving. Their plans include distributing information and stickers, asking students to sign pledges and conducting a safe driving simulation activity during National Youth Traffic Safety month.
Allstate agent, Mr. Knox, spoke with students about the dangers of texting and driving and thumb print were stamped as a pledge – “Don’t Text and Drive”. This event was very hands on for the students and they learned a lot about the importance of no texting while driving.
The chapter also sent a delegation to Raleigh for the 25th Anniversary SAVE Summit.
The SAVE Advisor at Terry Sanford High School is Kevin Hight.
