A message from the first SAVE Advisor – Gary Weart Posted December 18, 2012 by NationalSAVE

Dear SAVE:

My heart is broken once again after the horrific events at Sandy Hook Elementary School.  However my resolve has never been stronger.  We must continue to strive to make our schools safer.

Thomas Jefferson stated:  “If pride of character be of worth at any time, it is when it disarms the efforts of malice.”  Our world can be very malicious and unkind.  Our current and future generations must change this behavior in order for mankind not only to survive, but to return to civility. SAVE is and will to continue to be this agent of change.

May God bless the community of Newtown, CT.
